From 3pm till late come an try new immersive experiences, such as Microsoft Hololens, the latest in augmented reality headset, and Goggles Tilt Brush that allows you to paint in virtual reality. Alongside these new experiences will be a panel discussion regarding the immersive arts with speakers from Double me, who specialize in converting 2D into 3D using their novel HoloPortal capture system, Dr Nick Lambert from RavensBourne and prize-winning Lumen Prize VR artists.
After the panel the evening will change pace, with a visuals by highly renowned VJsaccompanying a set by special musical guests followed by Hackney house regulars twosixtysix collective who have crafted a special music set for this event exploring its themes of augmented and virtual reality . On top of all this, there will be the opportunity for you to try your own Google Cardboard headset, to jack-in and have a visual experience to remember.
